Edition Change
Procedure
- List available target editions:
dism /online /english /Get-TargetEditions
- If you are upgrading from Home to Pro, you will need to disable the Internet before performing the upgrade.
- Insert Generic product key for target edition.
changepk.exe /ProductKey <generic_product_key>
- Transformation process starts.
- Enable internet connection (if disabled).
- Insert valid product key for Windows activation.
changepk.exe /ProductKey <valid_product_key>
- Optionaly force actiovation process.
slmgr /ato
- Check Activation Status with the following command.
slmgr /xpr
